Steven Hawks

Biography:

Dr. Steven R. Hawks is a professor at Brigham Young University where his research interests include global malnutrition and obesity, the nutrition transition, body image, self-esteem, and weight management. He has written numerous academic journal articles about hunger-based eating, as well as one book, Making Peace with the Image in the Mirror. His second book, Loosening the Belt of Dietary Restraint, is due out soon.
