Kathleen McGowan

Kathleen McGowan

Biography:

Kathleen McGowan’s dynamic publishing career began with the debut of her novel, The Expected One, on the New York Times bestseller list in the summer of 2006. Ms. McGowan’s unique style of “historical esoteric fiction” combines unprecedented research with inspired storytelling, causing publisher Simon and Schuster to declare that Kathleen had "created her own genre." Her record-breaking first novel evolved into a fiction series with a devoted worldwide fan base, published in 50 languages and distributed in over 80 countries.

The Expected One, along with the sequels that make up The Magdalene Line series, is based on 20 years of research on four continents into the mysteries of ancient wisdom teachings, prophecy, mysticism and the supernatural with a focus on women and their long-forgotten role in the development of global spirituality.
