Biography:

Michael W. Cook is the founder of Cook Cryptid Research and SossSquatch BBQ & Hot Sauce. He has spent 20 years researching Bigfoot and other phenomena stemming from a face-to-face encounter with a Bigfoot on a riverbank in Southeast Kentucky when he was 16. Cook has dedicated his life to cryptozoology and the pursuit of answers through scientific means.

Described as one of the most open-minded researchers out there, Cook has a resume that is full of experiences and collaboration with the most well-known researchers on Earth. He has been featured in books, documentaries, and TV shows, most notably Travel Channel's These Woods Are Haunted. Cook is also featured in the upcoming documentary by award-winning filmmaker, Kelley Lockman, I Believe in Bigfoot, which will premier in 2023.

Cook has traveled the country speaking at events with his presentation, The Bigfoot Experience, which is a must see and fun for all ages. He is currently writing The Cryptid Cookbook which will be released in Fall 2022, and also The Bigfoot: Out of The Woods, a book filled with encounter stories, research, and history of the world's most famous cryptid, Bigfoot.
