Ryan Hurd is the author of Sleep Paralysis: A Guide To Hypnagogic Visions and Visitors of the Night and co-editor of the two-volume research set Lucid Dreaming: New Perspectives on Consciousness in Sleep. His work has been featured on NPR, CNN, Mashable, Vice, Gawker, and more, and he's lectured at venues as varied as Stanford University and the Rhine Research Center. He is currently serving as Director of Spiritual Development at Unitarian Society of Germantown in Philadelphia, PA, and as a lecturer in Psychology and Holistic Studies at John F. Kennedy University.
