Sally A. Hoedel, a lifelong Elvis fan and historian, has a journalism degree from Michigan State University and is co-owner of Character Development and Leadership, a curriculum business. She has used her research skills to dig into the details of the life of Elvis Presley, who died in 1977 at the age of 42.
