George R. Schwartz

Biography:

George R. Schwartz, MD, a magna cum laude graduate of SUNY-Downstate Medical Center has extensive experience in medical practice, directing and integrating complex medical systems and creation of innovative programs. He has been founding member of the major organizations in Emergency Medicine and Trauma care and is the senior editor of Principles and Practice of Emergency Medicine. He has been board certified in two medical specialties, and is the author or co-author of more than l75 articles, studies, book chapters and scientific treatises. He was named one of the 2000 Outstanding Scientists of the 20th Century.
