Diane Raines Ward is a journalist from New York City and has worked on five continents for more than a decade looking into water related problems and solutions. Her current book, Water Wars: Drought, Flood, Folly and the Politics of Thirst is a record of that inquiry. She is also the co-author, with her husband, of Tiger Wallahs: the Men Who Tried to Save the Greatest of the Great Cats . Together they run an American non-profit organization, Tiger Action Fund for India that supports South Asian conservation efforts.
