Michael A. Corey has had a lifelong interest in astronomy and the naturalsciences. An avid follower of America's space program as a young child,Michael soon came to be fascinated by the mere suggestion that intelligentlife forms might exist elsewhere in the universe. This interest eventuallyled him to question whether or not any of the earth's specific featurescould have been determined by the influence of any type of extraterrestrialintelligence (including God). This question eventually grew to become thecentral focus his research career.
