Investigators Debra Cunningham and Howard 'Dru' Strom presented their research on the Philadelphia Experiment when they appeared on Monday night's show. "Our focus is solely on looking for evidence we can substantiate from the government," Strom said. To that end they have collected a wealth of declassified "secret" documents, which they believe indicate that the Navy has been and still is involved with experimentation with time travel and teleportation.

The log of the S.S. Andrew Furuseth (a ship they believed loaded injured sailors from the USS Eldridge which had conducted the invisibility experiments) shows erasures which substantiate the idea of a cover-up, Strom and Cunningham contend. Through fragmentary evidence such as this, in addition to the witness account of Carlos Miguel Allende, they have pieced together a story which suggests four naval ships were involved in the "Philadelphia Experiment" in 1943.

Interestingly, Strom who served for 22 years in the US Marine Corps, said he saw a ship suddenly materialize in the waters off San Diego in 1992, lending credence to the idea that the Navy is still using this kind of technology. Further, Strom believes they have the ability to travel both forward and backward in time, and that the "Navy rewrote US world history."

Special Report: Bay Area UFO Expo

This past weekend I beamed down to the 5th Annual Bay Area UFO Expo, which featured a bounty of interesting presenters. One of whom, was the man called "the most controversial speaker in the world," David Icke. I sat down with Icke for a 90-minute interview which will be featured in the December issue of After Dark.

The distinguished Robert O. Dean, looking dapper with his grey ponytail and walking cane was the recipient of the Expo's 2003 Maverick Award. I caught his stirring talk that provided answers as to who the extraterrestrial presence is and why they are here. According to Dean, there are at least four ET species interacting with Earth, and at least one of them is a "Type 2" civilization (capable of using the energy of an entire solar system). Dean said that ETs are conducting mining operations on such places as our Moon and the rings of Jupiter, and that he has photos that demonstrate this. Further, our planet is seen as an abundant "zoological garden" to them, open for genetic interactions and interbreeding.

Also commenting on ETs was psychotherapist Barbara Lamb who has amassed data through some 2,000 hypnotic regressions with her clients that have had contact experiences. Lamb indicated that the aliens were for the most part a rather compassionate bunch, as she cheerily pointed her laser pen at a slide of a hybrid embryo tube being overseen by a "grey." "I do know people that absolutely love their hybrid babies," said Lamb. "Hybrids, hybrids," she chirped, as time for her lecture was running out, she ran through her out-of-this-world slide show of artist conceptions of alien and human offspring.

Some of the most fascinating "presentations," took place informally. Standing outside the Marriott on Sunday afternoon, as the screams and whirs of the Great America theme park could be heard from across the street, I met an attendee name Jesús, who was sharing his photo album. The pictures, which he has taken over the last 35 years in the Northern California area, contained gigantic orbs as well as wispy-looking triangular craft. Jesús said the secret to garnering these images, was to make an invocation to the "brothers and sisters of the light," before snapping the picture. Click here to read Part 2 of my report.
