  • About the show

Author Adrian Gilbert delved into Mayan prophecies, Stargates and cosmic cycles. He noted that Mayan monuments often had dates on them that reference either the far past or the distant future, which led him to believe that they were cognizant of longer cycles that the Earth passes through.

Indeed, the end of the Mayan calendar in December 2012 corresponds with the complex astronomical cycle of "procession," Gilbert said, and he theorized that they may have gained knowledge of this through their shamanistic practices. The date in 2012 signifies the end of an "age," which the Mayans believed typically came with a cataclysm. Gilbert suggested that such a time could be "a graduation day for the human race." While there likely would be a calamity, "if you believe, you're spirit-- "it's just a transformation," he proffered.

Gilbert also spoke about the notion of "stargates," which he associates with two points in the sky, one "over the hand of Orion" and the other "over the sting of Scorpio...in the center of our galaxy." In the year 2000 he took a group of people to Egypt to witness the "opening" of one of the stargates, which marked a time frame he associates with the beginning of the Tribulation as written about in the Book of Revelations.

    Bentwaters UFO Case

First hour guest, Larry Warren, the co-author of Left at East Gate, discussed his participation in the upcoming Sci Fi Channel special UFO Invasion at Rendlesham. Warren, who was in Air Force Security at the Bentwaters Base in the UK in 1980, said he was an eyewitness to events that occurred during a third night of unusual activity in the woods near the base. Among the strange things he saw were a "silent explosion," a small ball-like object that came down from the sky, a larger structural craft, and lifeforms that he described as "translucent."
