  • About the show

UFO investigator Peter Davenport of the National UFO Reporting Center presented new cases and was joined by UFO witness John Baker, whose story was revealed for the first time during Friday night's show.

Back in the summer of 1966, Baker worked as a systems analyst at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota. One night, an outer zone security violation was triggered followed very shortly by an inner zone security violation. An immediate investigation found a 30-ft luminous object hovering over one of the ICBM silos located on the base. The UFO could be seen on radar, but not visibly. Baker was "told not to speak about it," though he feels safe talking about it nearly 40 years later. He believes the occupants of the UFO were sending a message that they could render our nuclear missiles inoperable at anytime.

Later, Davenport discussed other "significantly different" UFO cases. He says many of the reports he receives now involve clusters of objects, rather than a single UFO. He cited a recent case of five objects converging over Benicia, California that was witnessed by several people. Davenport urged anyone who has had a recent UFO encounter (within the last 2-4 days) to call in a report at (206) 722-3000, and to remember to submit a written report at National UFO Reporting Center. He also reminded interested parties to join him at the upcoming MUFON Symposium in Denver in mid-July.

George opened the Monster Hotline during the last two hours of Friday's show. The first caller told of the time he almost hit a bigfoot with his car. He described the beast as standing 8-feet tall with glaring yellow eyes. He believes a hunter will eventually kill a bigfoot, which will offer definitive proof of the creature's existence. Later, a caller from Los Angeles recounted a dream she had in which the Devil (with red eyes) offered her a deal in return for her soul. The Devil told her he had the power to take souls and that he did so routinely. She refused his offer and prayed for him to leave her alone.
