Glynis McCants, a professional numerologist, returned to the show, discussing her practice of using numbers to understand relationships, health and global events. Based on Pythagoras' 1-9 system of numerical traits, she said that 2004 is a "6" and is a year that people will focus on marriage and strengthening relationships. 2005 is a "7," she added, where the focus will be more spiritual with people listening to their inner voices.
Endeavors that involve luck, such as betting on horse races, can be aided by playing off the particular day's number, McCants said. For instance, if you were betting on a race on the 28th, that is a "1," so horses numbered 1, 5, or 7 might be more likely to win.
McCants also shared a method of determining a person's "intensity" number, which she said can come in handy if you only know a person's name rather than their birth date. By listing the numbers that correspond to the letters in their name (such as illustrated on this chart) the number that is most repeated reveals what that person feels intensely about.
