  • About the show

This special show looking into the JFK assassination featured three separate researchers each with their own hour. Jim Fetzer led off, calling the assassination "a meticulously planned" and "carefully executed" operation, in which the Secret Service was complicit. There were multiple gunmen, and Kennedy was hit four times, he said. He pinned the crime on a number of organizations including the Mafia, the CIA and the military, as well as LBJ. Further, Fetzer claimed the FBI was involved in the cover-up which included the altering of X-rays and an autopsy report.

Next, author January Jones offered a different spin, theorizing that the wealthy and powerful Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis had JFK killed so that he could marry Jackie Kennedy. Onassis hired an elite hit squad from the "European Mafia" to perform the job, and they escaped to Canada afterwards, she detailed. He collected people like possessions, and "Jacqueline was the crown jewel in his collection," Jones declared.

Genealogist Bruce Adamson joined the program next, offering a complex set of circumstantial pieces of information, which to him, indicated that a CIA agent named George de Mohrenschildt plotted the assassination.

Lee Harvey Oswald depicted on this "suitable for framing" Time Magazine cover from 1964, was a man whose short life has been a source of mystery and speculation. One fascinating idea, which appears to have some evidence to support it, is that there were two or even more "Oswalds." In the Houston Chronicle, Holly Hildebrand wrote that a secret organization such as the CIA may have recruited an Oswald look-alike to live a parallel life.

"Indeed, on various official records, ranging from Oswald's Marines examinations to his autopsy report, the suspect's height fluctuates from 5 feet 8 inches in 1956, 5 feet 11 inches in 1959 and 5 feet, 9 inches in 1963," she notes. Additionally, in the days leading up to the assassination, Oswald doubles were said to be popping up all over Dallas. In one such instance, a man identified as a "Lee Oswald" test drove a used car from a lot. However the real Oswald did not know how to drive a car.
