  • About the show

Friday's Open Lines featured a special "Truth or Trash?" hotline, where listeners could share their stories and have them judged either true or false by Fast Blast participants who registered their votes with George online.

One caller claimed he was abducted by aliens when he was six years old. He said the aliens told him his family would die if they stayed in their house. When he was returned, the caller said he discovered another family had died in the house several years earlier. The Fast Blast jury decided his story was TRASH and the caller confirmed their suspicions.

A police officer from Memphis described his encounter with a ghost he and his wife named "Fred." The caller allegedly witnessed a tall, slim entity with long black hair walking down the hallway of his home, as well as sitting next to him on the couch. The Fast Blasters accurately judged this purportedly factual tale as TRUTH.

Another caller insisted she saw the ghost of a sea captain standing in her bedroom doorway. After telling her neighbor about the experience, she was shown the photograph of "Uncle John," a man who used to live in the caller's duplex. Uncle John's ghost appeared to her again, but the caller said she asked him to leave and has never seen him again. The Fast Blast panel declared incorrectly that this true story was TRASH.

    Cattle Mutilations

During the first hour of Friday's show, Canadian rancher Fernand Belzil discussed cattle mutilations, mad cow disease and possible extra-terrestrial involvement. Belzil has investigated nearly 100 animal mutilations. He said in "authentic" mutilations there are no signs of human activity, little or no blood around the carcass, and predators will not approach the dead animals. He also noted unusual radiation levels and magnetic field distortions in areas where the mutilations occurred.

    • Pick a day when clouds are stable and don't change quickly.
    • Choose one cloud from a group of small fluffy clouds.
    • Concentrate on that one cloud and think to yourself over and over again, "I'm sending up energy."

Anita believes once you learn to dissolve clouds, you can accomplish anything with your mind.
