  • About the show

Author and scientist Charles Pellegrino presented details about sites where great destruction has taken place-- New York's Ground Zero, the Titanic and Pompeii's sister city, Herculaneum. He investigated the Titanic first hand, traveling underwater in a submersible. The ship remains look "like a giant cockroach on the bottom of the ocean floor that had been stepped on by a giant foot," he declared.

The wreckage of the Titanic's stern was reminiscent of what he observed at Ground Zero. He discussed the phenomenon of "shock cocoons" that took place there, whereby certain persons were within feet of explosions and yet remain unscathed. Pellegrino also said there have been eerie tales of people appearing at Ground Zero, such as one Marine, who seemed to vanish into thin air. The anniversary lights at the Twin Towers site have also had a strange impact, he noted, attracting thousands of moths and winged creatures into the light.

Pellegrino said that the ruins at Herculaneum are even more gripping than those of Pompeii. The city was struck by a force on the level of an atomic bomb in 79 AD, and people died within 2/10ths of a second, incinerated by volcanic jet streams spewed out into the air. He described the eruptions as a bright red "tsunami" over 100 feet high that had a temperature of around 2,000 degrees.

    Biscardi Statement

First hour guest, Tom Biscardi, offered an explanation and apology related to his earlier claims that he had a Bigfoot in captivity. He now says he was misled by an acquaintance of his colleague, Peggy Marx. The acquaintance, who lives in Stagecoach, Nevada, had told them of an injured Bigfoot that was being cared for by two veterinarians. As the details of her story began to unravel, Biscardi said he eventually concluded that her reports were false.

George Noory asked Biscardi if he would refund people's money who signed up for his Internet streaming service after Friday's announcement that video of Bigfoot was forthcoming and he said he'd consider that. George suggested that people could also contact their credit card companies about disputing the charges if they had signed up for his service after Friday's show.
