Steve Quayle returned to discuss the phenomena of giants, which he views as a "Rosetta Stone" for understanding history and genetics. Myths, legends and oral traditions of almost every culture have all talked about the time of the giants, he noted.

He shared details from an email he received from a US Air Force officer about a dead giant he observed in Afghanistan eight months ago who was flown to a secret military base in Europe. The giant was estimated to weigh about 1100 lbs., appeared to be twice the height of a normal human, and had an unusual odor.

Quayle also revealed that an Arctic giant image/video that had been circulating on the Internet was actually fictional footage shot as a promotion for a new video game called Shadow of the Colossus. Yet, he believes there is currently a joint military operation underway to retrieve ancient artifacts related to Admiral Byrd's findings in the Arctic and the fake footage could have been used to cover any leaks. During his first hour on the program, he offered analysis of the French riots, which he connected with terrorism.

Preparing for Asteroids

First hour guest, planetary scientist Dan Durda discussed a plan from an organization he is affiliated with, the B612 Foundation, that would deal with potential asteroid collisions. We've found the path of 70% of near-Earth-objects, but that still leaves several hundred asteroids that could careen into us at any moment, Durda warned. Not enough attention and money have been devoted to this threat, he argued. For instance, funding for the Arecibo telescope is on the chopping block, and that facility has been useful in pinning down the orbits of some of the dangerous objects.
