  • About the show

Journalist and author Lynne McTaggart discussed how a unifying quantum energy or "field" connects the universe, and shared various pieces of scientific evidence that relate to this theory. We can train our brains for extra-human potential, she reported. For instance, by practicing meditation, she said the brain becomes more synchronized as the quantum particles "speak" to each other better. EEG studies of the legendary psychic Ingo Swann's brain show larger parietal and occipital sections, which McTaggart related to his unusual ability to psychically visualize things.

She also discussed the work of the Russian professor, Konstantin Korotkov who has used computerized Kirlian photography to show that dead bodies continue to give off light up to a week after they've died. Certain types of corpses, such as those who perished from a sudden accident, tend to give off light for longer periods, suggesting they might have some unfinished business, McTaggart said.

In the medical arena, there are numerous cases where transplant patients report taking on new personalities, related to the donor. And, she shared that there is increasing evidence that mind and consciousness have a connection with such treatments as distant healing, homeopathy, and acupuncture.
