  • About the show

Researcher Dr. Bruce Maccabee discussed several UFO cases he has analyzed in depth as well as his study of Tesla's works. A 1976 incident in Iran involved jet fighters chasing a unknown bright object which apparently disabled the jets' electronics, he reported. The 2004 episode in which Mexican Air Force pilots documented strange lights may actually have involved two different phenomena, Maccabee said. One large object caught on radar may have been truly anomalous, but he suspects that the smaller set of bright lights (seen on the video below) probably had ground sources-- namely, distant gas-burnoff flames from oil wells.

Maccabee's interest in the life and works of Nikola Tesla led him to create a literary work about him, titled The Lightningmaster, which presents the fictional premise that Hitler's spies stole Tesla's defensive weapons. Whether Tesla actually created a beam weapon capable of knocking planes out of the air remains speculative, but it's likely he developed the idea from the experiments he conducted at Colorado Springs in 1899-1900, he said.

    Terrorism Update

First hour guest, surveillance specialist Douglas Hagmann presented an update on terrorism issues. He commented that details which emerged at the Zacarias Moussaoui trial about bin Laden had the ring of authenticity. There is currently chatter about terrorism targets such as stadiums, Hagmann noted, but intelligence services are typically unable to thoroughly vet such information.
