Author and philosopher Paul Eno debuted on the show, discussing his theories about ghosts and the paranormal as well as case histories. The concept from quantum physics, that many parallel worlds or universes can simultaneously exist with ours, helps to explain paranormal phenomena, he said. In a sense, the activity of ghosts and poltergeists could be considered manipulations of space-time.

Eno has encountered both positive and negative ghostly phenomena in his investigations. A 5-year old boy that was dying of leukemia held conversations with his deceased grandfather and gleaned information that only the grandfather would have known. After the boy died, he became a "guardian" for his family, watching over them, said Eno. However, negative entities can be parasitic in nature, feeding off intense emotions or even the electricity in a home, he detailed.

In a 1974 poltergeist case in Bridgeport, Conn. that he consulted on, the afflicted home was in disarray with pictures ripped off the wall, clothes thrown around and even a refrigerator lifting itself up. While a young girl who lived at the house was at the center of the incidents, Eno got the impression that a number of parasitic entities were involved. He saw a gauzy substance standing in front of him, just before the young girl was thrown across the room by an invisible force.
