  • About the show

Author and astrologer Barrie Dolnick joined her co-author, attorney Anthony H. Davidson, in a discussion on the nature of luck and ways a person can maximize his or her own personal luck. Davidson said there are two sides to luck: the rational side involving statistics and probability, and an emotional aspect connected to something Dolnick called the "wacky luck factor." Dolnick further explained that luck is a cosmic force, which if understood, can be beckoned in but not controlled.

The two recommended ways to improve luck, including positive thinking and having a diversified "luck portfolio." According to Davidson, a luck portfolio consists of "luck assets" such as health and love. If you're having a bad run in one area, Davidson said, then change your focus onto what is going well to create more of it. Dolnick agreed, adding that "appreciating luck brings in more luck." They also spoke about lucky colors as well as lucky herbs, such as orange peel and rose petals.

    9/11 Analysis

In the first hour, Ian welcomed researcher John Farmer, who provided his analysis of 9/11. According to Farmer, there is a discrepancy between radar data from that day and the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) from American Airlines Flight 77, the plane which impacted the Pentagon. Six seconds of data is mysteriously missing from the FDR, Farmer explained, noting the last coordinate position places the aircraft near the Sheraton Hotel, not the Pentagon.
