  • About the show

In the first half of the program, authors Rob & Anne Wlodarski discussed their latest work, Talking with the Dead, a collection of 13 paranormal cases written by fellow ghost hunters from around the country. The Wlodarskis shared their own case from the book, which chronicles their experiences at Rosemary Clooney's house. There were issues with the house after the famous singer-actress passed away, the two said. According to Rob, temperature readings showed the inside of the dwelling to be around 42 degrees, even though windows were open and the outside air temperature was in the low 70s. They also picked up an EVP of composer George Gershwin there, Rob added.

The pair revealed a theory about how soil may act as a kind of conductor for spiritual energy. As evidence, they pointed to an unusual paranormal experiment. Soil was sent from Jefferson, Texas, home of a Union soldier who was killed in the Civil War, to where he likely fell in Triangle Field at Gettysburg. An EVP of a voice (presumably of the dead soldier) saying "thank you" was picked up on a recording as the Texas soil was dropped onto the former battlefield site, they said.

The Wlodarskis detailed some bizarre occurrences at the Sharon Tate house, site of the infamous Charles Manson murder spree. In addition to the almost overwhelming negative energy there, they reported that a psychic became possessed during the investigation, and another person found a set of knives, began stabbing the air and chanting, "I'm going to kill everybody." Rob also talked about paranormal happenings at his archaeological excavation sites, noting that he has personally encountered an spoke with spirits, including dead actress Doreen Lang from Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.

The remainder of the show featured Open Lines.
