Channeling / Reed UFO Case

About the show

In the first half of the program, author and researcher Wynn Free talked about channeling messages from entities known as the 'Council of Elohim.' According to Free, the experience began during a road trip from Los Angeles to Portland, Oregon with a female friend. After saying a prayer for protection from some stormy weather, he asked if anyone wanted to talk to him and his companion replied, "we're here, do you have questions?" Although initially skeptical, they tried this communication again and established a connection with these entities. Skeptical of the veracity of these messages, Free asked for some form of proof and they told him of a future newspaper headline which came to pass shortly thereafter.

After four months of communication with these entities, who called themselves the 'Council of Elohim,' Free received an additional "very unusual confirmation" about their legitimacy after learning that his sister was in dire health and had been hospitalized. In search of any possible aid for his ailing sister, he asked the 'Elohim' to help her. The next day, he received a phone call from her husband saying that she had survived. Although he assumed it was just a coincidence, Free was stunned when he later found out that his sister, previously afflicted with lupus, now no longer had the incurable disease. Baffled by this turn of events, he inquired how the Elohim cured her and they told him they filtered her blood to remove the lupus. Now fully convinced of the reality of these beings and the knowledge they possess, Free has focused on learning more from them about the nature of the universe.

In the latter half, award winning South Beach fashion photographer, Thomas Reed, shared details about his family's historic UFO case. He traced their story back to the late 1960's, when he and his brother, Matthew, spotted a strange light through their bedroom window. As they discussed the puzzling sight, Matthew saw a flash and Thomas disappeared. When the family began looking for him, they heard a series of "door slamming" sounds and Matthew disappeared as well. The brothers found themselves on some kind of craft where they encountered beings and were shown images projected onto a huge screen. After a frantic search which lasted 3 or 4 hours, their mother found the boys 30 or 40 feet away from their house.

Reed recalled additional dramatic events which later befell his family, including an incident where he and his brother as well as his mother and grandmother were all seemingly abducted at once. From this event, he remembers being aboard a massive craft with his brother and encountering a human-like figure. Reed described it as wearing a ghostly white outfit and had "big lenses," rather than eyes, that seemed to be embedded in its skin. The entity led him down a hallway and into a room where he also spotted two disturbing, insect-like creatures. Over the course of his appearance, Reed detailed how lie detector tests and physical trace evidence lent credence to his family's case as well as how people associated with the story died or got injured under mysterious circumstances once they decided to write a book about the experience.
