Martian Anomalies / The Ouija Board

About the show

In the first half, author Mike Bara discussed what he considers to be evidence for pyramids and artificial ruins found all over Mars, including Cydonia and the Face on Mars as well as remnants of a vast city discovered in the Southern hemisphere. He marveled at the emergence of a grassroots movement of curious people studying Martian images for anomalies and uncovering "so many things that are not rocks and do not belong on Mars." Bara contended that every mission to study Mars, whether it be via rovers landing on the surface or satellites taking images of the planet, has revealed ancient structures which suggest a planet-wide civilization once existed there.

Bara detailed a number of areas on Mars where photographic evidence reveals possible ancient artificial structures. According to him, one such location, dubbed 'Parrot City,' contains buildings which clearly resemble factories, exhaust systems, and pumping stations. "If you didn't know they were on Mars, there would be no question that's a building somewhere," he said. Regarding the Face on Mars, Bara dismissed modern NASA images of the anomaly because they are not taken from directly overhead and, thus, the photos are manipulated in order to create that effect which results in "an incorrect perception of how the thing really looks." However, Bara claimed that when ESA probes took overhead, color photos of the Face, "it confirmed everything that we would expect to see," including further evidence to suggest that it is an artificial structure that was "built by someone."

In the latter half, author Karen Dahlman talked about her work with the Ouija Board and offered advice on how to best use the device. Having worked with the Ouija Board since 1973, Dahlman explained that she uses the instrument "as a tool to go deeper into consciousness" where she communicates with entities such as angels, spirit guides, and even animals. She observed that, although you can pose any question to the Ouija Board, the answers one receives are entirely dependent upon the entity answering the inquiry. "Just because I'm speaking to something that's unseen," she stressed, "doesn't mean they are all knowing, all seeing, or have all the answers."

Sharing insights into her process of using the Ouija Board, Dahlman said that it begins with showing reverence to the power that the device holds as well as the communication the may unfold. Beyond that, she advised users to be relaxed and centered before working with the board as well as receptive of whatever messages may be conveyed. Finally, she emphasized that repetition is a key factor in mastering the Ouija Board, noting that having a specific scheduled time to use the device is helpful in getting better communication. On how to get deeper insights from 'the other side,' she recommended avoiding 'yes/no' questions, which she called a "novice mistake," since such inquiries do not allow the 'voice' to master their end of Ouija Board communication nor provide clear answers.

According to a new proposal based on NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter data, lunar pits (like the one seen here) may be the ideal location for future human colonies on the moon. The massive craters, which have been discovered by the hundreds on the lunar surface, would provide protection from radiation, temperature changes, and other hazards posed to the first moon denizens.
