Fascism & Conspiracies

About the show

Appearing in the first half of the show, author, investigative journalist, and online editor Alex Constantine spoke about his work uncovering world fascism, political corruption, organized crime, and related conspiracies. He's made it his life's work to reveal hidden information, as the American public is distracted from following deep politics, media coverage is often superficial, and up to 1/3 of the CIA's budget goes into propaganda, he noted. Constantine spoke about Mae Brussell, a trailblazing researcher who inspired his own work. Brussell shed light on CIA recruitment of Nazis after WW II, their role in political assassinations, and how post-WW II politics played out. She was also the first researcher to deconstruct the assassination of John Kennedy, connecting players from that event to Nixon's Watergate crimes, he detailed.

Constantine also talked about a conspiracy to kill John Lennon, noting that the three psychiatrists assigned to examine Mark David Chapman all came out of the CIA's MK-ULTRA plan, one of whom was involved in a 'Manchurian Candidate' project, and that the voices that Chapman was hearing in his head were likely part of a mind control program. Regarding fascism, it came about from the rise of the robber barons in the early 20th century, and is really rooted in big business, he said. Numerous corporations did business with the Nazis, and continued to do so during the war, and to profit from it, Constantine reported.

Scientific Explorations

In the third hour, a graduate of Cambridge University with a degree in physics, Brian Clegg, discussed writing about such topics as ESP, the Big Bang, and time machines. Traveling into the future is an easier proposition that going back to the past, he said, citing how if a fast-moving spaceship went on a 2-month journey, it could be 10 years later when it returned to Earth. While Clegg had a telepathic experience himself when he was younger, he found that a lot of the early research into PSI abilities was of poor quality, though more recent experiments suggest there could be a possible mechanism that explains these mental powers.

The last hour of the show featured Open Lines, with callers addressing the question of whether life was created by a higher intelligence.
