UFO Disclosure/ H.H. Holmes, Serial Killer

About the show

In the first half, disclosure activist Stephen Bassett talked about the importance of UFO nuclear tampering evidence, the implications of Edgar Mitchell's recent comments about UFOs, and the current political landscape for disclosure. In the first Disclosure Hearings held in 2001, Capt. Robert Salas testified how nuclear warheads were shut down when UFOs hovered over Malmstrom AFB. In all this time, the US government has never addressed this nuclear evidence, because they don't want to acknowledge the ET issue, Bassett remarked. Mitchell, an Apollo 14 astronaut, has lately been speaking out about how top-ranking military sources observed UFOs during weapons testing.

Bassett foresees the "truth embargo" ending before the next US president is in office in January, 2016. Hillary Clinton and her top advisor John Podesta may directly engage the Rockefeller Initiative before the first primaries, because the media is so interested in the UFO topic, he suggested. While he believes Obama will be the first disclosure president, the candidate elected in 2016 will have the best chance in shaping American policy on the ET question in the post-disclosure world, he said.

In the latter half, author and former California trial lawyer Jeff Mudgett discussed his great-great-grandfather, H.H. Holmes, who was arguably one of the most prolific serial killers in America. Trained as a doctor, Holmes was a brilliant psychopath, who set up an elaborate "Murder Castle" in Chicago, with the ability to gas victims in different rooms before sending them down a chute to his basement, which was a kind of house of horrors. He found numerous female victims, who were typically visiting from out of town, during the Chicago World's Fair of 1893. Subsequent to his trial (which Mudgett called the OJ Simpson trial of its day), Holmes admitted killing 27 innocent victims, though the evidence indicates that number was actually far higher.

After he was executed, a 'Holmes curse' was said to exist, in which a number of people associated with his trial, arrest, or execution either died, or suffered terrible misfortune or luck. This led Mudgett to suspect that Holmes may have paid off the warden to have someone else executed instead of him, as the body was immediately placed into cement, without being examined. He believes that if Holmes escaped, he may have wreaked revenge on these various people. Mudgett hopes to have his ancestor's body exhumed to prove it's not him. Interestingly, before his arrest, Holmes traveled to London, and Mudgett is convinced that he committed one of the Jack the Ripper murders-- that of Catherine Eddowes, who was killed in 1888. A movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Holmes, Devil in the White City, may soon be greenlighted.

While H.H. Holmes may not be as well known as England’s Victorian butcher, Jack the Ripper, Holmes was perhaps the most evil, premeditated mass murderer to stalk the Earth. His great-great-great grandson, California trial lawyer and author of "Blood Stains", Jeff Mudgett told C2C on 8/20/15 that Holmes actually profited from many of his crimes – unlike most serial killers.

Mudgett told George Noory that Holmes, a University of Michigan medical school graduate, premeditatedly designed and opened a hotel with murder and profit in mind during the time of the 1893 Chicago’s World’s Fair Exposition. The so-called Murder Castle was specifically designed to kill women that Holmes seduced and lured from the fairgrounds. "He could seduce any women - mesmerize their husbands," Mudgett said. Among the women, a drug store owner, who sold the establishment cheap to Holmes after the death of her husband.

Across the street, Holmes erected his three-story labyrinth of death - a hotel ostensibly built to lure the clients from the Chicago fair. The ground floor contained the relocated pharmacy while the upper two floors were a maze of over 100 windowless rooms with doorways opening to bricked-in walls, stairways to nowhere and weirdly shaped hallways. Holmes was the only one who fully understood the intricacies of his personal charnel house.

After the hotel was completed, Holmes selected female victims from among his employees - many of whom, as a condition of employment, were required to take out life insurance premiums. While Holmes would pay the premiums he was also named the beneficiary. On his loathsome list of death was a steady stream of new lovers, strangers to the Chicago area visiting the Exposition and hotel guests who paid for their short stay with their lives.

Mudgett told C2C that after Holmes killed his victims, he threw them into acid baths and furnaces destroying all evidence of his crimes. With the flesh stripped away, Holmes sold the victim’s skeletons to various medical schools – turning a horrific profit! For more from this fascinating interview and the terrifying Holmes Curse and the killer’s connection to Jack the Ripper, be sure to listen to the entirety of Jeff Mudgett’s interview on the 8/20/2015 episode of C2C.
