America's Hidden History/ Open Lines

About the show

Filling in for George, Richard Syrett welcomed researcher and author,Don Jeffries, whose new work, Hidden History, chronicles a wide variety of issues that have plagued US history. Whether it's the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Iran-Contra, the Oklahoma City bombing, TWA Flight 800, voting fraud, or 9/11, Jeffries contends that every major disaster or war that we've witnessed has somehow been distorted by those who are supposed to be protecting us.

"It's a systematic way of doing business, the people in power have been corrupt for a long time and they perpetuate themselves," Jeffries said. He traced the last 50 years of corruption and cover-ups to the JFK assassination, noting how those behind it provided a "lame and inadequate explanation" in patsy Lee Harvey Oswald. Jeffries suggested JFK was the last president who tried to do things on his own and circumvent the powers-that-be. All candidates since, with the exception of Robert F. Kennedy, have been diehard globalists and warmongers placed into their position of power, Jeffries explained. Decisions about who will be president are made at Bohemian grove, by the Bilderbergs, or at Council on Foreign Relations meetings, he added.

Jeffries shared his belief about a coming economic collapse and the harm of policies which concentrate wealth into the hands of small few. Donald Trump's rise in popularity among voters shows that Americans are tired of weak leaders and the homogenized views of the two major political parties, he proposed. Jeffries likened the choice of democrat or republican to choosing between electrocution or hanging, as in his opinion both parties agree on many of the same harmful policies. Those on the left seem devoted to an authoritarian political correctness doctrine and seek to diminish civil rights, while those on the right allow businesses to get away with anything and support concentrating wealth. Jeffries lamented that no contemporary politician is talking about civil liberties, disengaging in world affairs, and putting America first.

The remainder of the program featured Open Lines.
