Gun Rights/ Shag Harbour Incident

About the show

Executive Director of Gun Owners of America for over 30 years, Larry Pratt, leads his organization of 300,000 Americans dedicated to promoting their Second Amendment freedom to keep and bear arms. In the first half, he discussed the latest legislation related to private ownership of firearms as well as various current events. Reacting to the recent Charleston shooting, Pratt observed that the church was a gun-free zone, and the suspected shooter, Dylann Roof, might have singled out the location because of that. Further, he noted that when Roof went to purchase a gun several months ago, the background check on him failed miserably, as he was able to buy the weapon, even though he'd been arrested on felony drug charges just a few months before.

This shows the pitfalls of relying on gun control when a more effective way to stop the Charleston shooter would have been to have someone at the church with a concealed carry ready to defend themselves, Pratt continued. He spoke about the growing "constitutional carry" movement, which seeks to make it legal to carry a concealed gun without a permit-- six states have enacted legislation in favor of this. Pratt was critical of "Operation Choke Point," an Obama administration initiative, which he said was being used restrict guns in the US by having financial institutions charge gun stores higher rates for transactions.

In the latter half, authors Chris Styles and Graham Simms, experts on the Shag Harbour UFO Incident, described the event, which has secured a place in Canadian history as one of the most documented UFO cases. On October 4, 1967 a large unknown lit object, hovered in the air, then descended rapidly into waters near Shag Harbour, a village in the province of Nova Scotia. When police arrived on the scene, the object was still visible on the water as a pale yellow dome, before it suddenly disappeared or submerged, Styles recounted. "Shag Harbour from the start has been a compelling argument for UFO reality and remains the world's only UFO crash scenario that is supported in that interpretation by government documents that are freely available and entirely without controversy as to their origin or authenticity," Styles remarked.

In a second sighting, exactly one week later, people saw lights emerge from the water, and interference with TV reception occurred at the same time. Simms reported on an alien abductee who had contacts with a bearded human-like entity named Malek, who said he was involved in the Shag Harbor incident, oversaw the Greys, and was part of a galactic community that interacted with Earth. Styles also described how the waters near Shag Harbour have one of the deepest rifts in the world (the Orpheus Rift), and such areas have gravitic and magnetic anomalies which have become associated with various paranormal phenomena.
