1941 UFO Crash

About the show

Earthfiles investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe presented a 3-part report on the new book, "MO41, The Bombshell Before Roswell," interviewing its author Paul Blake Smith, a longtime Missouri resident who decided to dig deeply into the 1941 crash of a UFO near Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The incident began on the night of April 12, 1941, when local resident, Pastor William G. Huffman, was called by police authorities to travel immediately to a crash site to give ministerial rites to three passengers, two dead and one still alive, Smith recounted. According to Huffman, when he was escorted to the site, he saw a crashed metal spaceship, and nearby were three identical Grey aliens, "almost as if they were released from a cookie cutter." The recovered aliens were "incinerated from within" as though they could not breathe our atmosphere, Rev. Huffman recalled.

Huffman said he was given a photo of two men holding up one of the aliens, but the image was taken by a so-called photo expert and never returned to the Huffman family. Smith told Linda he believes the aliens and their damaged craft were initially brought to the Sikeston Missouri Institute for Aeronautics, before being stored in an underground facility beneath the Capitol building in Washington DC. According to two sisters from Ohio, their father, Rev. Turner Holt, was taken on a tour of the secret rooms in the 1940s by Secretary of State Cordell Hull and shown three large jars, each containing a non-human with big eyes.

"It seems apparent that Dr. Vannevar Bush began examining the (Cape Girardeau 1941 UFO crash) craft and found an atomic propulsion system, neutronic in nature, and thought we could possibly apply this to our atomic bomb program. And from there, boy, secrecy came down hard and fast. It was a race to see who could perfect the atomic bomb and America very much wanted to win — especially after we were attacked in December of 1941 and things looked very bad in 1941 and 1942 for this country," Smith detailed. Dreamwork & Relationships

First hour guest, hypnotherapist, speaker, and founder of Dream-Life Coach Training, Kelly Sullivan Walden, talked about using dreamwork as a problem solving tool, and her new book The Love, Sex, and Relationship Dream Dictionary. We can use insights from our dreams to make our relationships better, she remarked, and while symbols in dreams have unique interpretations, they also can have universal or archetypal meanings. One of the pillars of dreamwork, Walden added, is that every remembered dream requires some sort of action in your waking life.
