Dearly Departed Special III

About the show

For over 23 years, Coast to Coast AM has been host to some of the bravest, and most innovative and informed experts (view our In Memoriam list). Starting in the second hour, George Noory played and commented on six different interviews from former guests in the C2C family that are no longer with us, yet whose legacies and ideas live on. First up was Al Bielek (1927–2011) from a February 2005 appearance, revisiting his claim that he participated in the Philadelphia Experiment aboard the USS Eldridge in 1943 as a man named Edward Cameron. The experiment to make the ship invisible misfired, he explained, adding that he traveled through a rift from the Eldridge to a secret experiment in Montauk being conducted forty years later.

Editor and publisher of International Forecaster, Robert Chapman (1935–2012), followed next with his bleak financial predictions circa a 2004 show. Chapman foresaw the real estate market taking a severe downturn, and the US dollar dropping in value. In an appearance from 2008, author and researcher David Flynn (1962-2012) discussed evidence for ancient geoglyphs centered around Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. He believes they may have been built by giants.

Astronaut, scientist, and author Dr. Edgar Mitchell (1930-2016) discussed his experiences being part of the Apollo 14 mission, his views on ET visitation, and his research into the nature of consciousness in a show from 2007. Starting off the last hour, scientist and innovator Dr. Fred Bell (1943-2011) addressed such topics as his covert work with government, mind control, holographic technology, and Roswell in an early 2011 appearance. In our last guest tribute, we returned to 2004, for a conversation with Michael Ruppert (1951- 2014), the publisher and editor of From the Wilderness newsletter, who touched on secret societies, the CIA, Osama bin Laden, and the war on terror.

Economy & Brexit

In the first hour, founder and director of the Trends Research Institute, Gerald Celente, talked about Brexit (the possibility that Great Britain may leave the European Union), and the faltering US economy. It's hard to predict how the British vote will go, but either way he doubts that it will have much effect on the US, he remarked. Janet Yellen, Chief of the Federal Reserve recently bragged about job growth, and the state of the economy, but the numbers show there has not been a genuine recovery, and since 2009, 95% of the wealth created has gone to the upper 1%, while median household income is below 1999 levels, Celente pointed out.
