Innovative Business/ Secret Space Program

About the show

In the first half, innovative technology investor/advisor Tim Ferriss shared the secret habits and practices of successful people. Ferriss moved to the Silicon Valley early in the tech revolution and began to make connections with innovators. He soon learned that to be successful in that world (or indeed in any business) one must not copy others’ successes, which he referred to as "zigging when others are zagging." He used the example of Twitter, which began as a personal project for its founder, and became a worldwide phenomenon.

Ferriss has noticed that the most successful people tend to be non-reactive to bad situations, and many of them accomplish this through some sort of "mindfulness practice," such as daily meditation or any sort of habit that makes people aware of their thoughts and where those thoughts come from. He said that the truly prosperous also tend to read the ancient writings of Stoicism, which teaches a detached kind of philosophy. Ferriss also discussed sleep and diet as being important to creating a successful mindset. He suggested a mixture of apple cider vinegar, honey and warm water for insomnia, and a sort of tea made with turmeric, ginger, and coconut oil instead of coffee. Ferriss stressed that people who excel also have their bad days and that "we only see the highlight reels on the magazine covers."

In the second half, author and lecturer Mike Bara discussed the alleged secret space program, as well as anti-gravity propulsion programs, secret flying saucer crafts developed by the military, and anti-gravity breakthroughs. Early in his research, Bara says that he encountered what appeared to be a secret U.S. space program separate from NASA that was begun within the "military intelligence complex." He believes this was done because the government was afraid that we might find evidence of extraterrestrials on the moon or other planets. Bara asked the listeners to consider that UFOs may have technology that is not thousands or hundreds of years ahead of us, but possibly only fifty.

Bara then traced the history of supposed anti-gravity technology developed in the mid 19th century by Germans who immigrated to America, eventually settling in California to perform their experiments. He believes that a breakthrough was made in the 1860s and they returned to Germany. By WWII, the technology had developed to the point where disc-shaped craft were being flown. After the war, he says the United States captured the technology and incorporated it into flying wing aircraft, which may have led to what we now know as the Roswell crash. Bara hastened to add that he does believe that "we definitely have real alien spacecraft that crashed here" and that the government has successfully back-engineered some of the technology.
