Is Our Universe a Computer Simulation?

About the show

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe presented an in-depth look at whether the universe could be a computer simulation. Back in April 2016, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and a panel of physicists and mathematicians, including Prof. James Gates, discussed the issue, and the surprising consensus was that the universe probably is a simulation. Linda spoke with physicist Tom Campbell, who had a 30-year-career working for US Army Intelligence, and concurs with the notion. "You look into reality close enough and what you find is that it's not material," he told her. "It's information based. Information based means it's computed."

Continuing her conversation with Campbell in the second segment, they pondered questions about God, time, free will, reincarnation, and remote viewing within the simulation. For more, see Part 1, Part II of the full interview. Agreeing on the simulated universe theory is Jason Padgett, whom Linda spoke with in segments 3 & 4. Back in 2002, he was beaten savagely outside a bar in Tacoma, and ended up in a hospital with a severe concussion. But after some healing, Jason began to see everything around him like frames in a moving film, and was able to draw perfect fractals that his mind sees, which are similar to the holographic structure of the universe that human abductee Michael Talbot wrote about in his 1991 bestseller "The Holographic Universe," based on telepathic downloads from an alien intelligence.

Jason is the subject of the 2014 book, "Struck by Genius" and today, sees in his altered mind, the geometric and fractal relationships between everything from rainbows and fountains to galaxies. The frequencies and wave patterns he perceives permeate our universe as well as separate it from other dimensional universes, and if these concepts were understood, we could all heal each other with the palms of our hands, he indicated. Esoteric Hollywood

First hour guest, author and lecturer Jay Dyer discussed occult codes, symbolism, and secret meanings in Hollywood films, particularly in the works of directors like Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg, David Lynch, and Alfred Hitchcock. The ritual psychodramas revealed in Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut" actually mirror dark activities that are taking place in the real world, he commented. Spielberg, he added, showed us how the "Deep State" (secret govt./military) operates in films like "Close Encounters," while Lynch plays with themes involving esoteric and occult connections.
