Doomsday Machine/ Alien Implants

About the show

In the first half, legendary whistleblower who revealed the Pentagon Papers and former high-level defense analyst, Daniel Ellsberg, shared his shocking firsthand account of America's nuclear program in the 1960s, and how the legacy of this most dangerous arms buildup threatens our very survival. "I discovered," he said, "as early as 1961 that a lot of very smart people...[were] making the world less safe. Because the measures they were supporting were actually fueling an arms race." And that's happening, currently, he added. "Both the Russians and the US are building...what amounts to a doomsday machine." And there is the ever-present danger that an unauthorized action or false alarm (such as what recently happened in Hawaii) could lead to a misguided war.

The atomic bombs dropped in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, which killed between 200,000 to 300,000, were different than the later developed 'H' bomb, a thermonuclear weapon that's a thousand times more powerful than the ones used in Japan, he pointed out. When he was working in the Pentagon, Ellsberg discovered that in a plan approved by the Joints Chief of Staff and presented to Pres. Kennedy, the number of people the US anticipating killing with "H" bombs in a war against the Soviet Union and Russia was a staggering 600 million. The reality, he continued, is that the particles from a firestorm in a large nuclear war would travel high up into the stratosphere, obstructing 70% of sunlight, and leading to an ice age, permanent winter, and massive loss of crops and starvation.

In the latter half, chemist specializing in materials science, Steve Colbern, discussed his research into alien implants, and his partnership with the late Dr. Roger Leir, who he initially contacted for the removal of an alien implant in his toe, and later worked with analyzing other implants. Colbern recalled the morning he realized he'd likely been implanted during the night. There was "a bruised feeling on the side of my head, a stinging sensation in my toe, and there were two puncture wounds on the bottom of my toe. Each of them lit up bright green under ultraviolet light." A foreign object showed up on an X-ray of Colbern's toe, and during the removal surgery conducted by Dr. Leir, it broke into a number of pieces.

Colbern had some of the pieces analyzed, and they were found to contain micron-sized carbon nanotubes, the world's strongest known material. He has seen a variety of alien implant types; some were made with metallic combinations not found on Earth. While the implants likely have tracking capabilities, he believes they are primarily used to monitor body variables like temperature, and blood sugar. He's concluded that the aliens are developing a hybrid race (thousands already live among us) that will populate the planet after a major catastrophe. Among the signs that a person may have an implant, he cited scars or bruises that inexplicably appear during the night, missing time of an hour or more, dreams of aliens or medical procedures, and seeing animals like deer or raccoon under strange conditions.
