Simulated Reality / Billy Meier's Prophecies

About the show

A graduate of MIT and Stanford, Rizwan Virk is a successful entrepreneur, video game pioneer, and author. In the first half, he discussed the simulation hypothesis, a theory drawn from concepts of computer science, artificial intelligence, video games, quantum physics, and ancient Eastern spiritual texts, which suggests we may live inside a simulated world like what's depicted in The Matrix. It's one of the few models that relate to both scientific and spiritual understanding, he noted. We've seen the complexity significantly evolve from early computer games like Pong, to the 3D, virtual reality, and multi-player experiences of today. Using computer games as a template for simulated worlds, one could imagine, Virk points out, how on a far more advanced scale our realm could be part of a program.

Certain video games have specific storylines on servers that come to an end, which mirror ancient Indian texts that describe cycles of creation reaching a conclusion. The creators of this realm, he postulated, might be humans of the future who designed a kind of "ancestor simulation," or some form of non-human life creating our experience for unknown reasons. Virk also talked about the work of brilliant sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick. He spoke to his widow, Tessa Dick, who said Phil believed we live inside a generated reality, and what we see around us isn't real. Further, Phil recalled alternative timelines and thought that simulations could be rewound for different outcomes.

In the latter half, Michael Horn, spokesperson for famed UFO contactee Billy Meier, talked about Meier's predictions of the future, some written as far back as 1948. According to Horn, Meier was one of the first to warn about man-made climate changes and environmental disasters. Meier wrote in one document that after 2017, earthquakes in central Italy would be precursors to much more massive events, and that there would be increased activity of volcanoes in Italy and the Mediterranean.

Horn explained that Meier used a kind of time travel to witness events in the future. From his 1948 prediction, he wrote "On the American continent much will be destroyed far and wide in a more distant time, as the great caldera will break open, which cannot be prevented, as the Earth being broken open by the great Eifel caldera in Germany cannot, whereby the upper part of Europe will become a sea of fire." Meier also claimed to have witnessed and photographed a cataclysmic earthquake in San Francisco from a future period when cars will no longer have rear view mirrors.
