Synchronicities and Kindness / ETs, Atlantis, & Egypt

About the show

Stephen G. Post has served as a professor at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University, where he directs the Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care, and Bioethics. In the first half, he spoke about synchronicities, and how humanity is fundamentally united by acts of love, kindness, and giving. He recalled a strange recurring dreamlike vision he had as a teenager living in New Hampshire in which he saw a misty scene where a young man was hanging over a ledge. Then, a blue angel appeared, and said: "If you save him, you too shall live." Through a circuitous path with many synchronicities, he later found himself living in San Francisco with his cousin, and one day while walking near the Golden Gate Bridge, he came upon the man in his vision, standing beyond the railing looking as if he was going to jump.

He talked the man down from the ledge with the tale of his vision, gave him a Buddhist scroll, and invited him to stay with his cousin. This turned out to be a life-renewing opportunity for the suicidal man, as well as a profound confirmation for Post. "I believe there is a cherishing higher presence in the universe, and we all participate in it, and sometimes it responds just in those moments...of great need," he said. But we have to be aware and notice these moments of synchronicity to get the most out of them, he added. Exploring different spiritual paths, including Christianity and Nichiren Buddhism, Post advocated for simple living and honoring the Golden Rule (treating others as you want to be treated).

In the latter half, hypnotherapist, lecturer, and writer, Jonny Enoch discussed a wide array of topics including his early paranormal experiences, alien abductions and contact, NDEs, reincarnation, Aleister Crowley, the lost continent of Atlantis, and the ancient 'Food of the Gods.' Since Plato was the first to speak of Atlantis, many assume it's a Greek story, he noted, but the account was passed down to Plato by relatives who traveled to Egypt, where they first heard the legends of an advanced civilization said to thrive around 12,000 years ago. Enoch suspects Atlantis' downfall was due to technology run amok-- overreaching electromagnetic experiments-- perhaps not unlike today's HAARP Project, he conjectured. He pointed out that the existence of pyramids on both sides of the Atlantic suggests there was a global dissemination of the Atlantean culture.

Working with associates, he interpreted glyphs and reliefs at the Abydos temple in Egypt as depicting an ancient stargate/portal system that could be accessed through an upgraded body by eating manna or a type of white gold, also known to the Egyptians as "MFKTZ." Enoch considers humanity to be a form of ET hybrid, and has worked with a number of clients in hypnotherapy sessions, where they described being on alien ships. "I can sometimes have a communication with the ETs in real-time through them [the hypnosis sessions]," he revealed. One ET contact case that has impressed him is that of newspaper editor Philip Krapf, who was very skeptical of alien stories until he started having his own encounters.
