In the first half, astrologer Mark Lerner discussed the planetary alignments happening over the next few months and years that affect relationships, the election cycle, real estate, and the stock market. We are currently in a Mercury retrograde cycle, he noted, and that is a time to be a little more careful about communications. Many blame Mercury retrograde for anything that goes wrong during this cycle, but that is overstating its influence, he suggested. The impeachment hearings opened in a Gemini moon, he cited, which is the sun sign for both Trump and Pence, and this is also what we'll see on election day, November 3, 2020. Mercury, the ruling planet of Gemini, will make a station on that date in 2020, which indicates to Lerner that the election will be a referendum on Trump, more so than the qualities of the Democratic candidate.
In 2022, Pluto will return to where it was in 1776 (America's birth year), as the outer planet has a cycle of 247 years. One of its archetypes is that of "plutocracy," he explained, which relates to people of great wealth such as Trump. We have 13 lunar returns throughout the year (as compared to just one solar return). These moon cycles can give us a tremendous boost and change our vitality, he said, and further, one's moon sign may represent a person's sun sign from a past life. In the latter half, Dean McMurray, known as 'the Military Medium,' talked about his work helping veterans, and those mourning the loss of loved ones by contacting the Other Side. After his last deployment with the military, he was engulfed by a large amount of paranormal activity, such as pictures flying off the wall. His wife called in a local psychic who came by to clear the space, and she revealed to McMurray that he was a medium. He was reluctant to believe this, but shortly afterward, he was visited by the spirit of his deceased grandmother. He felt an inner-knowing that it was indeed her, but he asked for a sign of confirmation. Immediately, the room turned ice cold. He asked for her to touch him, and he felt a gentle but firm pressure pushing him into the mattress.
As a medium, he connects to the Other Side when a face or silhouette materializes in his mind's eye, and he then describes what he sees or feels to a client. He has a kind of agreement with the spirits to appear on the left, if they are from the client's mother's side of the family, and on the right for the father's side. In one reading, McMurray's arm started moving uncontrollably, and it turned out that a client's deceased father had come through, and was trying to convey the idea of car racing. When cleansing a house, he never labels spirits as demonic, as he believes giving a negative energy or entity recognition makes them stronger. He has concluded that the Other Side is a different plane of existence that is influenced by the spirit's belief system, and that we ultimately revert back to an energy state.
