Near-Death Experiences & the Afterlife / Open Lines

About the show

Mark Anthony, the "Psychic Lawyer," is a psychic medium who specializes in communication with spirits. On Friday's program, he discussed the electromagnetic soul, near-death and shared-death experiences, and proof of spiritual contact and survival of consciousness after death. Anthony's theory of the electromagnetic soul describes what he thinks we really are — eternal electromagnetic energy and pure consciousness. "Our body is like a car and our soul is us driving the car; when the car ceases to function we get out and move on," he said. According to Anthony, neuroscience is at a loss to explain how the brain creates consciousness. He suggested rather than creating consciousness, the brain only hosts it and at death it is transferred to a different frequency.

Anthony commented on a theory by skeptics which argues so-called afterlife visions are the side effect of a dying brain tripping on DMT, a hallucinogen found in the brain. "DMT does not induce the sense of traveling through a tunnel into the light, it doesn't create entering a transcendent realm, encountering the spirits of deceased loved ones, or veridical perception," he explained. Anthony also spoke about shared-death experiences which are reported to occur when people are in close proximity to someone who is dying. Those near the dying will pick up on what they are experiencing spiritually, including death bed visions, seeing spiritual beings, and experiencing the life review, he revealed. "Shared-death experiences give objective proof to survival of consciousness and existence of the electromagnetic soul," he asserted.

Open Lines followed in the latter half of the show. Dave in Columbus, Ohio, called on George to use all of his influence to find out what is happening at the top-secret military installation Area 51. "You must know someone in the government who can go out there with you and see what's going on," he told George. "It's highly restricted and classified, and they won't let anybody on," George said, adding "sure we know some people within government but they won't let them on either."

Aaron from Louisville, Kentucky, recounted a ghost story he heard some years ago on Coast to Coast AM. According to Aaron, a young boy had complained to his parents about hearing voices in his room. Shortly after the parents found they could also hear these voices when standing in a certain location in their boy's bedroom. Where the voices could be heard in the room shifted each day and eventually left the room entirely, then could be heard in the yard, Aaron revealed. "It was one of those things to think about how space and time is never quite really in the same place," he said.

Michael in Virginia Beach, Virginia, commented on the raising to life of deceased people immediately following the crucifixion and death of Jesus recorded in Matthew 27. He described this story as the biggest mystery of Christianity. "The Christians have downplayed this [account]... these people have been alive now for 2,000 years — where are they and what are they doing," he inquired.

The final half-hour featured a replay from 8/1/21 when George spoke to Debra Lynne Katz and Jon Knowles about remote viewing.
