If you have a feline friend, you know how mysterious and beautiful they are. Sylvie Sterling is a cat whisperer and feline expert, author, and awakening coach. She joined guest host Lisa Garr (email) in the first half of the program to discuss how she has empowered thousands of beautiful souls to live a happy, harmonious and purposeful lives with their cat companions. "The cats... showed me this whole side that I had never thought possible, they showed me that they're so much bigger than we ever thought possible," Sterling said, noting cats are big souls with important tasks to accomplish. Often a cat's so-called 'bad' behavior is merely a reflection of what is happening with their human, Sterling added.
She provided a brief history of cats who "domesticated themselves 10,000 years ago" on farms, but that is not the ultimate origin of our feline companions. According to Sterling, cats come from the Lyrian system which is home to various feline humanoid races. They were seeded on planet Earth with humans so we would have companions in feline form, she revealed. There is a mix of star races that seeded us and they did so to provide humans with an experience, not as an experiment, Sterling clarified. Lion beings and others star races are guiding us through cats into an awakening and ascension, she disclosed. We are to bring peace to this part of the galaxy by realizing who we truly are and bringing the planet to fruition, she announced.

As part of our self-discovery we inevitably encounter our own shadow, those unconscious aspects of ourselves that we suppress or deny. But according to retired therapist Connie Zweig, Ph.D., we can recover from the loss of faith and move from spiritual naivete to spiritual maturity. She discussed how encountering our shadow can help overcome disillusionment and put us on a spiritual path that can lead to ecstatic transcendent experiences. "The truth is all of us need our shadows all the time, it's just our habit is to deny it or defend against it because we don't have the tools," Zweig explained, noting the term shadow describes "that part of us that is not in the light of our awareness."
A shadow can be a forbidden feeling like anger or sorrow, a trait which goes unlived, or a belief that gets repressed, she continued. "Anything at all can become shadow content," Zweig added. Shadow material is in the brain, mind, and body, and when we uncover this material we gain energy and awareness to potentially reclaim lost feelings and unexpressed talents, she revealed. According to Zweig, a shadow erupts to bring information about a valid need, and this can move the shadow into consciousness where behaviors can be changed. She recommended giving a shadow and name and image as a way to catch what had previously been an abstract feeling. This new awareness provides an opportunity for choice but the process takes time, Zweig disclosed.
