In the first half, pharmacist Ben Fuchs discussed natural health remedies and the vitamins, nutrients, and minerals that our bodies need to maintain good health. While many people use moisturizers to treat or prevent dry skin, Fuchs suggested that they actually suppress your skin's natural moisture factor. Instead, he recommended that people take EFAs (essential fatty acids) which "will make your skin naturally soft and moist." Regarding sun damage, he continued, one of the best things you can do to protect your skin is to take antioxidants associated with eye health, like lutein and zeaxanthin. "You'll notice that over the course of time, you're not burning as readily, and you don't have the same need for sunscreen, which...[contains] among the most toxic chemicals in the entire cosmetics business," he commented.
Fuchs also stressed the importance of drinking plenty of water. A good time to drink water is the first thing in the morning when we're dehydrated after sleeping, he said. "When you start drinking more water, you'll notice all of a sudden you have more energy...[and] you're not as hungry because the water is satisfying," he detailed. However, Fuchs added that with increased water consumption, you should make sure you're replacing your electrolytes and vitamin C, and water-soluble vitamins, which otherwise can be flushed out of the system. In reference to a listener with neuropathy, he advised eliminating or reducing refined carbohydrates from the diet, and taking the supplements selenium and niacin.

For over 45 years, John Russell has worked as a professional psychic with a worldwide clientele and as a paranormal investigator who has witnessed over 800 supernatural manifestations. In the latter half, he talked about his new guidebook on different ways to increase your psychic abilities, including psychometry, dream interpretation, candle magic, making your own amulets and talismans, scrying (similar to crystal ball gazing), attracting the perfect mate, connecting with a guardian angel, recording electronic voice phenomena (EVPs), working with the Ouija board, and more. Psychometry involves holding or touching an object and receiving impressions, thoughts, and imagery from it. Skills such as this can be learned fairly quickly, according to Russell.
Taking a practical approach in his guidebook, he has cut out the jargon and rituals sometimes described in occult practices. "You don't have to have special implements. You don't have to buy expensive things. You don't have to wait for a certain time of the month or year or day, or anything else. It's just cut-and-dry simple techniques, and you don't have to have any special ability to do these things," he explained. When it comes to the Ouija board, which some are hesitant to use, he said the energy you're working with is similar to a crystal ball, pendulum, or dowsing rods. In regards to dreams, they can contain a wealth of information and magical guidance. He cited an instance in which an acquaintance, who was a codebreaker with the NSA, was stymied by a particular code and received a breakthrough in one of his dreams, where a translation appeared before his eyes in the form of a ticker tape. During the last hour, Russell offered readings for callers.
