AI & Privacy / ET Contact & Crop Circles

About the show

RAIDA Tech CEO Sean Worthington joined guest host Connie Willis (info) in the first half to discuss the impact of AI and defending privacy against hackers. Among Worthington's revelations were that some major social media platforms were so easy to hack, his adolescent son had done so. “Kids are always doing that,” he said. “They’re always experimenting around. He doesn’t have to have a PhD in order to think about things, to analyze things, and figure out what might be a weakness. But he’s not afraid to just push buttons. And that’s sometimes all it takes.”

He also discussed his attempts to use the developments made with blockchain to create new databases that are distributed in ways that make them impossible to bring down, as well as to develop new, untraceable cryptocurrencies. “It’s all about using this kind of technology to create new databases that are distributed, that can’t be brought down,” he said. “But this technology allows us to do much more… we can use it for digital currency, and we’ve created the first digital cache, which means that instead of the data being on a public ledger, the data is actually on the person… on cell phones or desktop computers.” He said other digital currencies can be traced, and that any Central Bank digital currencies would definitely have that ability built in.

In the second half, filmmaker William Gazecki discussed his experience with crop circles, synchronicity, and his family's encounters with extraterrestrial entities. “Those things don’t just happen on their own,” he said of what people describe as paranormal experiences. “It takes an energy, it takes a focus, for something in the paranormal world to pop its head up in our lives and make itself heard and make itself known.” He noted that he was born in the shadow of Mt. Rainier – where Kenneth Arnold had his famous sighting that would kick off the modern UFO era and coin the phrase “flying saucer” – foreshadowing the role these events would come to play in his life.

He also revealed details of his first crop circle experience, something that he plans to put in his new film, but that he told Connie he hadn’t discussed before. “The crop circle phenomenon has been a part of my life since the mid-nineties,” he said. “So it’s been quite some time. And there’s a relationship. There is a, I hesitate to call it a friendship, but there is a connection that has been around me for a long time.” While he said there are hoaxers with strings and boards, even they’ve had their own strange experiences. “There’s plenty of evidence,” he said, “that demonstrates that the crop circle phenomena as a whole is not entirely manmade.” He told Connie he thinks the designs are the product of “an interdimensional intelligence… a real intelligence… but it doesn’t live in the world that we live in. It comes from its own world.”

Gazecki also shared his first wife’s experiences with alien contact, and how it drove a wedge in their relationship because he wasn’t ready to deal with the intense effect it had on her. Since then, however, he said he’s had his own experiences. “In October of 1989, I woke up one morning, took my shower, and as I’m drying off, I see on my chest a bunch of needle insertion marks… and then also on the inside of my left ankle.” This began a period of extraterrestrial contact, which he said included telepathic communications; those contacts lasted on and off until his last experience, in 2015. He told Connie that these experiences and more will be chronicled in an upcoming book.
