War on Cars / Faith and UFOs

About the show

In the first half, Executive Director of Policy at the National Motorists Association, Jay Beeber, discussed the imposition of low-speed limits coupled with automated ticketing machines that penalize us for the simple act of driving, as well as driving taxes, car-free zones, and more. Driving has become overly regulated and villainized in recent years, according to Beeber. While things like traffic cameras are presented as safety measures, they more often serve as government revenue generation programs, he argued. Owning a car provides freedom and prosperity, and government efforts to reduce vehicle usage are harmful to the auto industry and people's livelihoods, he continued.

His organization is against mandates on electric vehicles, believing that drivers should have a choice on what type of automobile works best for them. Beeber spoke out against "road diets" where cities remove traffic lanes to reduce traffic and make way for things like bike lanes. He disputed that they increase safety, and said bicyclists represent a tiny percentage of transportation users. He was also critical of so-called "15-minute cities" that aim to reduce suburbanization and promote dense urban environments. Some locales in Europe are already doing this and penalizing drivers in some way for traveling out of their zone. Beeber detailed the National Motorist Association's success in getting municipalities to make adjustments such as in California, which agreed to adopt a more lenient standard with yellow light time in their camera systems.

In the latter half, UFO experiencer Chris Bledsoe recalled his various close encounters in North Carolina and how, in the aftermath, he was healed from a long debilitating health condition. In 2007, when he was on a fishing trip, he saw a huge object glowing orange that had tips of fire shooting off of it, and then second and third objects came into view. He experienced an episode of 'missing time,' and when he got back to camp, he found out his son Chris Jr. had also been missing. Chris Jr. reported seeing "little translucent, glowing beings about three feet tall" that had bright, glowing red eyes. As the group fled the scene, Bledsoe said strange lights were following his truck on the highway, and they thought that an alien invasion was taking place.

Subsequently, Bledsoe has had many sightings and encounters, including with orbs and shadow beings, some of which he has documented and photographed. He detailed a 2012 incident that began with a blast of wind that knocked him over, and he saw a translucent or "celestial" bull that stepped over him. Then he saw a four-foot-tall woman glowing with a bluish aura wearing a full-length white garment. She appeared several feet above the ground and enraptured him in a circle of light with her. She telepathically communicated that he should continue to share his tale with the public, and that humanity had lost its direction.
