Natural Healing / Cryptid Investigations

About the show

In the first half, Dr. Joel Wallach talked about achieving healing through the benefits of natural remedies and supplements that aid in the body's recovery from various chronic ailments. He highlighted a critical turning point in human health in the late 1800s, when many transitioned from wood and coal to electricity. This shift deprived people of essential minerals previously sourced from wood and coal ashes that were used to cook and preserve their food, he stated. Wallach was critical of current medical practices, claiming that "doctors get paid to reduce symptoms," but often neglect nutritional solutions. He pointed out alarming statistics about the life expectancy of medical professionals themselves, suggesting a disconnect between their health and knowledge of nutrition.

He also discussed the prevalence of osteoporosis of the skull, estimating that "85 to 90% of the people over 40" may be affected, and how the condition is often connected to various health issues, including tinnitus, balance problems, and memory loss. His book "It's All in Your Head" further delves into these issues. Wallach praised colloidal silver as a remedy for infections, arguing that it's effective against harmful viruses and bacteria. For a caller who had stomach issues and excessive burping, he recommended taking digestive enzymes before each meal.

In the latter half, jazz musician and paranormal investigator Eric Mintel discussed his investigations and sightings of cryptids in places like Wisconsin and New Jersey, as well as paranormal cases. Mintel, who works with mediums Dominic Sattele and Julie Kraus, changed the name of their investigative group from Bucks County Paranormal Investigation to Eric Mintel Investigates due to their extensive travel. During an investigation of the Beast of Bray Road in Wisconsin, the team heard a chilling howl that "sounded like a man screaming" in a low guttural howl. This experience, heightened by the sighting of "two yellow eyes" staring back at them from a cornfield, prompted them to make a hasty retreat. He also touched on their investigation of a 1759 farmhouse in which a woman felt the strong presence of a spirit in an upstairs bedroom and experienced its energy live on camera.

The team journeyed to the New Jersey Pine Barrens to investigate strange creature sightings. Though the area is associated with the New Jersey Devil, he has concluded that such sightings may actually be of Bigfoot. "No sooner do we get there, 20 minutes into it, we're getting whoops and hollers in the woods," as well as a back-and-forth vocalization, in which the creature seemed to respond to the calls of a team member, he detailed. Mintel also recounted eerie occurrences at the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe, PA, where UFO Hunters' Bill Birnes joined the investigation. Vince, the owner, was telling them about ghostly sightings at the Opera House, and later, when they reviewed it on video, they saw two orbs shoot out of his head.

During the last half-hour, George featured an excerpt from the 11/10/14 show with esoteric historian Tracy Twyman exploring occult mysteries.
