Biblical Treasures / UFO Swarms

About the show

In the first half, producer and author George R. Jensen, Jr. joined host Connie Willis (info) to discuss the Bible's compassionate wisdom. Jensen, a deacon at River Mountain Chapel in Pennsylvania, recounted how he discovered scripture's deepest message while delivering a well received sermon on love. "If we all [loved one another], just think how the world would be so different," he insisted. According to him, the Bible's most important verse is Matthew 22:37-39, where Jesus commands others to love God and their neighbors.

Jensen encouraged others to use the Bible as a source for understanding life's profound questions, insisting that the book "should be everybody's go-to place for wisdom on whatever the topic is." He has also written his own guide, Biblical Treasures, to help readers navigate 120 of life's most difficult quandaries. Jensen spoke about his preference for the King James Version of the Bible, asserting that more modern translations have altered the intended meaning of the original text.

He then shared his belief that the intricate connections of our nervous systems point to an intelligent creator. "The human brain has approximately 86 billion neurons... this complexity suggests a level of design that random, unguided processes like evolution cannot explain," he argued. Throughout the conversation, Jensen welcomed discussions with atheists and those exploring their beliefs. He expressed a desire for "friendly, loving conversations" to help bridge understanding. Jensen also relayed a personal anecdote from his father, who believed that regardless of one's faith, the Bible is still "a book of wisdom" that can help one lead a better life.

In the second half, UFO expert and founder of the renowned ECETI Ranch, James Gilliland, discussed the recent surge in UFO sightings. Gilliland, who has dedicated over 40 years to studying extraterrestrial phenomena, began by sharing his firsthand experiences. "Just about 45 minutes ago, there was a massive craft right off the south of the ranch... it looked like a cruise ship," he stated. He believes such sightings are not merely random occurrences but part of a larger narrative involving higher-dimensional beings. Gilliland explored these visitors' relationships to ancient civilizations like Atlantis and Lemuria. "The ships are showing up everywhere... and they've been here forever," Gilliland claimed. "We filmed 1,200 ships in three months."

He also spoke about the concept of "source" — a spiritual connection between our inner selves and the universe. "It's about tapping into that source, that collective consciousness," Gilliland explained, saying this is the best way to align with the intentions of extraterrestrial beings. He concluded with a call for individuals to embrace their spiritual journeys, encouraging listeners to seek their own truths. "You've got to drop into the heart... that's where you really get the information," he said.

The conversation also touched on Gilliland's near-death experiences, one of which revealed to him a bright light and the universal presence of a figure he identified as the Virgin Mary.
