"Why not ride that wave of greatness, of merriment, of joy?" she suggested. Dahlman, who is also an officer of the Talking Board Historical Society, shared insights on the history of Ouija boards, tracing their origins back to 1886. She recounted a fascinating anecdote about President Grover Cleveland, who received a "witch board" as a wedding gift.
