Health Freedom / Intention Experiments

About the show

In the first half, constitutional litigator Jonathan Emord, and Dr. Robert Verkerk with the Alliance for Natural Health, discussed natural health advocacy, and the need for a shift toward informed consumer choice. "We have a regime that is interested in censoring truthful information," Emord stated, arguing that many health issues could be managed through lifestyle changes rather than pharmaceutical interventions. He highlighted the historical censorship of nutrient claims by the FDA as well as the influence of the World Health Organization. Emord expressed skepticism about the WHO's alignment with public health interests. "They are completely and utterly controlled, not just by Big Pharma, but by individuals like Bill Gates," Verkerk remarked.

The two expressed optimism about potential improvements under Robert Kennedy Jr.'s possible leadership at HHS, including dealing with health crises without infringing on people's freedom, protecting consumer rights, and bringing about FDA reforms. Dr. Verkerk elaborated on the Alliance for Natural Health's mission, which seeks to protect Americans' rights to choose natural health remedies. He emphasized the threats posed by special interests. "We're seeing this ever greater authoritarian creep, and rights are being taken left, right, and center," he commented, citing the alarming trend of declining health in the U.S., attributing it to the manipulation of science by powerful entities. On the topic of food safety, Emord pointed to a "protectionist regime" that limits competition and innovation, and contributes to frequent food recalls.

In the latter half, author Lynne McTaggart discussed her groundbreaking work in the realm of intention experiments, which explore the power of human thought to affect physical reality. "I wanted to find out... how can you have a thought and send it to somebody else and make them better?" she explained, reflecting on her transition from traditional journalism to consciousness research. She has conducted 41 intention experiments since 2007, measuring the effects of collective human intention on various subjects, including plants and water. "We had 37 of the 41 show measurable, positive, mostly significant effects," she reported. One of the first experiments involved having a group of participants send intention to a leaf, resulting in it glowing significantly brighter than the control. "It showed us we were onto something," and, how being in a group amplifies the effect, she said.

"Even a group of eight can be hugely powerful... all you need is a group and a common intention," McTaggart stated. She recalled an experiment aimed at reducing violence in Sri Lanka during a 25-year civil war, stating, "Within a few months, that war was over. Now, we can't say definitively that was us, but it looks pretty compelling." The discussion also touched on the concept of the "mirror effect," where altruistic intentions such as in the Sri Lanka experiment not only seem to have beneficial impacts in the world but can lead to personal healing among the participants. McTaggart announced a new peace intention experiment that will take place on February 1st, and those interested are invited to participate via a live stream.
