Finding Atlantis / Psychic Detective

About the show

In the first half, researcher of ancient mysteries Frank Joseph Hoff shared his findings indicating that the lost continent of Atlantis is located under the South China Sea. He came to this conclusion based on the research of Brazilian professor Arysio Nunes dos Santos, whom Hoff said "reverse engineered" Atlantis back to its true original location. According to dos Santos' evidence, the underwater land mass is enormous, the size of the entire continental United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. This expansive area, Hoff argues, challenges the traditional notion that Atlantis was merely a small island, and he believes NOAA maps of the seafloor of the region of the South China Sea indicate the submerged area.

Regarding the fate of Atlantis, he proposed that "it's not that Atlantis sunk; it's that sea levels rose." He speculated that volcanic activity, rather than an asteroid impact, was responsible for the cataclysm that led to the continent's disappearance, referencing the historical event of the eruption of Krakatoa around 11,600 years ago. At this time, "the tsunami waves came in at about 1,500 meters high, so we're talking...over a mile high," he explained, noting the urgency for the Atlanteans to escape to other regions like South America. He suggested that while their civilization started off less advanced, they evolved significantly over 60,000 years, mastering metallurgy and developing complex cultures. Hoff highlighted the need for further exploration in Indonesia, where he claims evidence of Atlantis lies.

In the latter half, psychic detective and medium Melinda Williams spoke about her practice, mediumship, and readings, and how she uses tuning forks and essential oils for healing, focusing on the seven chakras. Delving into her background, she revealed that her psychic gifts were inherited from her biological mother, from whom she was separated at birth, as part of an inhumane policy where Native American children were taken from their families. Her early experiences with the spiritual realm began at age seven when she befriended the presence of a classmate who had died in a car accident. Currently, Williams assists families and law enforcement in solving missing persons and murder cases.

She recounted a compelling case where she helped locate a missing woman using psychometry (holding or touching a personal item of the individual in question), in this instance, a piece of jewelry. "I said, 'She is still alive... I keep getting the word green,'" she recalled, and this info helped guide the family to a dead-end road called Greenwood, where the woman was ultimately found alive. Williams emphasized the importance of collaboration with law enforcement, stating, "If I assist families, I make sure that law enforcement is on board with us." She also discussed her experiences with spirits, including one case where a deceased wife communicated to her that she had been murdered, and this information led to the arrest of her husband in the crime. During the last hour, Williams gave readings for callers.
