Natural Remedies / Healing & Intuitive Guidance

About the show

In the first half, pharmacist Ben Fuchs discussed natural health remedies and the vitamins, nutrients, and minerals that our bodies need to maintain good health. Speaking of skincare, he highlighted the benefits of supplements like glucosamine and hyaluronic acid, as well as dietary choices like bone broth. Maintaining healthy connective tissue, which he called "the womb that feeds all the cells of the body," is crucial in an effective anti-aging strategy, he added. The conversation also touched on thyroid health, where Fuchs described hypothyroidism as "the hidden illness" and emphasized the need to address digestive and blood sugar systems to effectively manage thyroid issues. He suggested, "If you just work on your digestive system and your blood sugar system, the vast majority of your health challenges, including hypothyroidism, will begin to subside."

The human body is inherently designed to heal itself, he asserted. "The only thing that could go wrong... is either nutritional deficiencies or toxicities," he stated, sharing the alarming fact that 80% of American calories come from ultra-processed foods, which he referred to as "Frankenfoods." He passionately argued that many health challenges could be reversed through proper nutrition and supplementation.

Fuchs pointed to the rising rates of kidney disease, often linked to blood sugar issues, and encouraged listeners to adopt healthier lifestyles. He also commented on ailments like shingles, explaining that these conditions often arise when the immune system is compromised. "All diseases... are inflammatory," he noted, urging listeners to strengthen their immune systems and reduce sugar intake to combat such issues.

In the latter half, counselor and medical intuitive Katie Beecher talked about her unique approach to healing, intuition, and her ability to tune into people's energy and identify physical, emotional, and spiritual issues. "I can see inside their bodies," she explained, highlighting that her readings are based solely on a person's name and age. She aims to help individuals understand their traumas and symptoms so that they can lead healthier lives.

She also discussed how to deal with anxiety, uncertainty, negativity, and discord in our current climate. Regarding the concept of evil, Beecher believes it stems from upbringing rather than being inherent. "I think we are born kind of blank slates," she stated, emphasizing the impact of childhood experiences on adult behavior. Addictions, severe mental illness, past traumas, fear, and low self-esteem can make individuals more vulnerable to negative energies, she pointed out. "Giving your power over to others can lead to feeling overwhelmed," she noted, while stressing the importance of self-care and setting boundaries.

She detailed her experiences with intuitive or spirit guides, stating, "I've always seen an older male Native American figure who was in tribal leadership," alongside other ancestors. She encouraged listeners to connect with their own guides, explaining her process of receiving messages through various signals, such as images or physical sensations. During the last hour, she gave readings for callers.
