Impact of LED Lights / Roswell Secrets

About the show

Guest host Richard Syrett welcomed Mark Baker, founder of the Soft Lights Foundation, to discuss how LED lighting poses distinctive risks to human health not found with traditional light sources. Baker explained that LEDs, as solid-state devices, emit intense, directional light, unlike the more diffuse glow of incandescent bulbs or candles. He identified three main issues: LEDs concentrate light into tight beams (spatial), emit excess blue light and little beneficial red or infrared light (spectral), and produce digital flicker (temporal)—a trio of traits that sharply differ from the natural lighting conditions experienced during human evolution.

Baker emphasized that blue-rich LED light creates biological risks because human bodies are sensitive to blue wavelengths, which regulate circadian rhythms but can damage cells. LEDs typically lack beneficial red and infrared light, thereby amplifying the hazardous segment of the spectrum. He warned that invisible digital flicker from LEDs—unlike the gentler flicker of traditional bulbs—may disrupt neurology, leading to headaches, nausea, migraines, anxiety, and seizures. Citing research, he explained that humans can detect high-frequency flicker at the cellular level, which can trigger subconscious stress, mood changes, and reduced performance in settings such as schools and workplaces.

In the second half, author and coach Blake Sinclair shared revelations about his late father's involvement in the 1947 Roswell Incident, as well as details from his own childhood, marked by vivid astral experiences, unusual dreams, and what he later understood as early paranormal and extraterrestrial encounters. One incident occurred on a farm in Fairfield, California, where he disappeared for an hour with no memory of the event. Under later hypnosis, he recalled an encounter with tall mantis-like beings, Sinclair revealed. As he grew older, he began uncovering pieces of his father's hidden military past, often through fragmented stories from relatives rather than direct conversations.

Family testimony revealed that his father had been a top-secret Army photographer at White Sands Missile Range in the 1940s, involved in filming V-2 rocket tests and the Trinity nuclear detonation, and possibly interacting with figures such as Wernher von Braun and Major Jesse Marcel. Sinclair recounted the moment his father, while watching a Roswell documentary, quietly admitted he was there only to retreat into denial moments later.

Over the years, through family accounts, researchers, military contacts, and corroborating clues, Sinclair concluded that his father played a direct role in documenting the Roswell crash. He believes his father filmed the craft, debris, and even deceased extraterrestrials. However, his father withheld details out of fear and a desire to protect his family. Sinclair's research ties his father's experiences to broader patterns of secrecy, witness intimidation, suspicious deaths, and compartmentalized military operations surrounding the UFO phenomenon. These revelations shaped Sinclair's understanding of both his father's hidden life and the larger extraterrestrial narrative he chronicles in his work.
