Director of Research for the Meru Foundation, Stan Tenen appeared for the entire program to discuss messages of deep meaning he said are encoded in the text of the Bible. He contends that one can enter an exalted state of consciousness when deciphering the codes that allow one to experience creation firsthand. Tenen related that the five books of Moses (which comprise the Jewish Torah and the first five books of the Christian Bible) appear to have a pattern that repeats throughout the text when examined in the original Hebrew.
He claimed that the patterns were highly unlikely to be due to chance, and indicated they revealed messages and prophecies by which "appropriately educated, and caring, and saintly people could achieve the level of knowledge of the sages and prophets of Judaism and later, Christianity." He continued with tales of early scholars who had figured out the code and were so stunned by the experience that some lost their faith or, as Tenen put it, were "burned out" psychologically.
Tenen also stated that the source of the Hebrew, Greek, and Arabic alphabets likely came from a "science of consciousness," which was revealed by these codes. The code is shown in the "literal raw sequence of letters" and not in what the letters spell in words, he explained. Tenen said that those more humble, spiritually or intellectually, "tend to have a safer time" going through these transformations, which is like a near-death experience. In the last hour, he answered questions from the audience.
