In the first hour, Peter Davenport and Michael Curta (Colorado MUFON State Director) spoke about a recent dramatic UFO sighting in Colorado that had happened just an hour before the show. A woman and her husband saw what they described as a huge blue/green fireball – bigger than a full moon. They witnessed the object for over 4 full minutes, which Art pointed out was too long for a meteorite or fireball.
Curta described a similar event on January 10 involving another fireball – even the police saw it and many heard a sonic boom associated with this object. A man reportedly drove to where the object would have fallen and came across military personnel that had the area blocked off. They said they were doing some type of contamination testing.
Then, Mark J. Carlotto and Professor Stanley V. McDaniel joined Art to talk about the Mars Mariner mission and the mapping of the Cydonia (Mars Face) region of Mars. They were concerned that the camera on the Mars Global Surveyor was turned off during the best time to image Cydonia. McDaniel suggested that NASA consistently refuses to perform advanced photo analysis on the Mars anomalies and discounts the dissenting research community.
Open Lines were featured in the latter part of the program, along with Art reading a letter from a purported time traveler who made predictions about the future.
