Combating UFO Secrecy

About the show

Steve Bassett, the only full time US lobbyist in Washington, DC, is the guest in hours 2-5. He began the Paradigm Research Group to help other UFO researchers in 1995. Bassett attended Richard Hoagland's press conference regarding Mars, and Steven Greer's disclosure press conference too. He was also working with the Phoenix councilwoman who wanted an official investigation of the Phoenix Lights phenomenon. Bassett discusses how before all the documentaries and films, Omni was the lone media outlet that was working on the UFO issue - keeping them in the mainstream. They discuss how Discovery pulled (at the last minute) the TV show "Inside Area 51" in November of 1997.

Based upon his assessment from what he's seeing, he's thinking within 12-14 months, the government will have to disclose the truth about the alien agenda. Art brings up the issue of internal fighting and dissension within the UFO community. The conversation turns to Area 51 during the last hour. They discuss Art's upcoming interview with the RNC chair and how they should approach the UFO question with him. Calls come in from the audience in hour 5.

In the first hour, Penthouse publisher Bob Guccione speaks about his wife's recent death and his advocacy of hydrazine sulfate as a cancer therapy.
